On this boat tour of the Marapendi Lagoon, we travel 9 km through the wooded canals that flow into the lagoon, where we will see islets, fauna, and flora of the Marapendi reserve region. The tour can last 2 hours round trip or 3 hours if you choose to stop at the reserve's beach for up to 1 hour for snorkeling. The tour begins and ends at your preferred embarkation point. From there, we follow the canal that runs alongside Avenida Pref. Dulcídio Cardoso and Avenida Sobral Pinto. This canal is full of landmarks connecting the lagoons to the condominiums and main hotels on the waterfront, such as the Windsor Barra, Windsor Jardim Oceânico, and Wyndham. The tour continues crossing the Lúcio Costa bridge and the Ayrton Senna Avenue bridge, arriving at the Marapendi Lagoon and finally at the islets near Praia da Reserva and Restinga de Jacarepaguá. Perfect moment for photos and selfies during a break. Scheduling of the tour is available with or without a stop for snorkeling at the reserve beach. The return trip is made along the same route as the outward journey, and finally, we drop each passenger off at the return dock.
